crafty

OK, So I'm way behind on posting my crafts from my monthly craft day. Here's the catch up post.

We made these cute little photo albums out of toilet paper rolls. Some really thrifty person was looking at her old toilet paper rolls and decided to make something out of them.

We painted shirts. I made these 3 shirts for Max. I had to do a Halloween and Christmas one. I'm such a holiday person.

I decorated some more cans. I wanted to make some to go on these sconces.

I have them hanging here in my dining area. I've had the two different ones up for awhile. I might just leave them both. Adds character. ;)

With the other can that was supposed to go up to match the other sconce.

I put it here on the desk. It makes a great pen holder. or whatever I end up shoving in it to get it out of the way.

Then we decorated picture frames.

much better. Although I'm still not done with this. I have some more decorating to do.

I made this one for my mom for Mother's Day. It's a picture of Max with the blanket my grandmother made. (my mom's mother) who has past away.

I also like the words, inspire, love and strength, extraordinary on it. It reminds me of my mom. she is so wonderful! I love her very much!

Crafty

I've been saving my baby formula cans. I've been wanting to decorate them and make some cute things with them. I had my craft girls over today and I finally decorated some of the cans.

Something for Valentines Day.

This I did with paper, stickers, and mod podge.

I went and got some cute fabric to make these cans for Max's room. I mod podged the fabric on and then put ribbon around the top and bottom.

Then I added some embellishments

I'm not sure I'm loving the embellishments.

I think they fit perfectly in Max's room.
I'm not sure what they will be storing yet. They just look cute.

Then I made one for Shaun to take to work. I mod podged fabric on to it. Then I put some clear photo holders on it. And put in some cute pictures of Shaun and Max.

I have a lot of fun making these. Their is so much you can do and make with them. I have more cans to decorate. It's fun being crafty.

Crafty

I'm getting crafty. At the first Tuesday of every month. I've got a group of gal pals that are getting together to get crafty.

Yesterday, we went over to Ashley's and played around with her Cricut machine. I made the card to the left for Shaun. The possibilities are endless with the Cricut. That's how I made the word Love and the S, M, A, for Shaun, Max and Ammie. I've got to save up and find a way to get me one!

Ashley even had lunch for us. Asian chicken salad. Yummy! It's so fun to get together and make stuff. It's also fun for are little ones. We all have little kids. They get to have fun playing together. It's a great time for Max and I.

Next month I'm hosting it at my house. I've got to come up with a fun crafty/project for us to do. I'm so excited to get some fun projects/crafts done. I'm looking forward to next month. Thanks my fellow crafty gal pals!
